The Potting Shed Self-Catered Holiday Let

In the Weald of Kent, and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nestles a tranquil, romantic haven. Peace, comfort, greenery and bird song surrounds this 4- star accommodation for 2 in the centre of Benenden, Kent.

The Potting Shed is a small Kent barn, once used as the potting shed by plant collector, ornithologist and artist Capt Collingwood ‘Cherry’ Ingram and converted in 2012 into a one bedroom self-catered holiday let. There are 2 private gardens including one with a summer house for the exclusive use of guests.

The little barn is situated off the village green a few hundred yards West of the old parish church of St George`s, down an unmade private track, yet within easy walking distance of village pub, which serves food, Benenden’s Community Shop, Post Office and Cafe, manicurist/pedicurist and a popular butchers. The Potting Shed has its own parking space and a private entrance. A homegrown garden arrangement in each room and a welcome trug awaits you.

There are many well-marked footpaths in the parish and copies of the footpath map are available in the Potting Shed Holiday Let.
